Worship Services
Every Sunday morning gathering of Christ’s Church to worship the Lord begins with members of music team leading us, as a congregation, in song. We have jokingly referred to the music teams as ‘The World Famous Christ’s Church Worship Band’ because many of our musicians and teams from CCA have literally traveled the world leading believers in song. In addition, they have recorded two worship albums, continue to write and arrange original music for our congregation, and have been a part of crafting many varied worship experiences for us at Christ’s Church.
The consideration of God’s word is also central to our gathering. As a congregation we look to the pages of the Bible for God’s revealing of Himself to us. We want to know Him. We want to walk with Him. We want to worship Him in the way that we consider His word together. We want to do more than simply read God’s story – we want to find ourselves within it.
Our Kid’s Connection program for children preschool through 6th grade is offered during our worship service. The children begin the service in the sanctuary and will be dismissed to their classes after two or three songs or after communion. There will be special weeks designated during the month when Christ’s Church musicians visit downstairs and lead praise music and child-focused prayer. Every week there will be music, prayer, and a Bible lesson taught by members of our congregation. Arts and crafts, role play, and games will also be used to help the children to experience their lesson creatively. Parents are asked to come to their respective classes to pick-up their children immediately at the close of the worship service upstairs.
A nursery is offered during our Sunday morning worship service for infants and toddlers, although we always welcome children to remain with their parents if that is more comfortable for you.
