Sentenced To Church
This morning I ran across this article. A judge in Ohio sentenced a man to attend a black church for having threatened to punch a black cab driver and for having spoken racial slurs. The defendant had a choice, 30 days in jail or time in church. What do you think?

I'll be surprised if the ACLUeless doesn't jump all over this one.
But I'm not clear about the judge's message, or intent. Expand the guy's culural awareness? I suppose it's better than say, "Diversity And Sensitivity Training."
Can't blame the guy for choosing church over jail, though.
