Tough But Edifying?
In my CBS study and 'It's In The Book' this week we considered passages in Mark's Gospel that included 7:24-30. I've found that passage both very difficult and very edifying. Why don't you take a glance at it and let me know what you think. I'll chime back in later with my thoughts.

Almost everyone in my group was confused at this passage also, but once Nancy gave her point about the passage... I found it to be extremely encouraging... for a gentile woman to have the guts to come up to Jesus in the first place and then to have such a witty response to something that sounded so cruel... I can see why Jesus then chose to heal her daughter.
I will wait to see if others chime in before I give Nancy's response...
