Worship Service Time: Sundays @ 10:30am
Sunday morning gatherings at Christ’s Church center around worship in song, prayer and teaching. When it comes to music we love diversity. From hymns to contemporary choruses, flutes to electric guitars, bluegrass to rock–anything is possible. But our music time is not about putting on a production for spectators. It is an invitation for all to participate in singing biblical truth and drawing near to God. Responsive scripture readings, times of prayer and quiet reflection are also a regular part of our worship experience. As a strategic partner of Grace Chapel in Lexington, MA, we enjoy the teaching of Pastor Bryan Wilkerson (via live stream video) as well as periodic teaching from our own Pastor John Nuxoll. No matter who is speaking, you can expect messages that are biblical, gospel-centered, missional and relevant. Communion is observed every first Sunday of the month.
Our children’s program, kids connection, is offered for children preschool through 5th grade during our worship service (except during summer months). The children begin the service in the sanctuary and will be dismissed to their classes after a few songs or after communion. The kids enjoy music, prayer, and a Bible lesson as a part of their experience each week. Arts and crafts, role play, and games will also be used to help the children to experience their lessons creatively. Parents are asked to come to their respective classes to pick-up their children immediately at the close of the worship service upstairs.
Nursery is offered during our Sunday morning worship service for infants and toddlers, although we welcome children to remain with their parents if that is more comfortable for you.
Don’t hurry off, you are welcome to stay for FREE coffee, refreshments and conversation after the service.
