Why do we call it Good Friday?
It wasn’t good because of what happened to Jesus.
It was good because of what happened through Him.
Good Friday marks the moment when love didn’t run, when grace didn’t hold back, when Jesus bore the weight of the world’s brokenness — and ours — so that we could walk free.
It’s a day of sorrow, yes. But also a day of deep hope.
Because even in the darkest hour, God was working salvation.
This is the beauty of the cross.
This is why we call it good.
